Diane Griffin Lunda
Introduces a Sneak Peek intro on the developments of DFA
I originally came to Detroit in the early 1980's during the last term of Mayor Coleman Young, when he had the Detroit Council of the Arts, which he established thru his legislative interest. During the time there was a Michigan Council of the Arts and not a Detroit Foundation for the Arts. After extensive research and developments, I received the status from the federal review board of the IRA, in 1986 which granted me to develop DFA as a charity opportunity agency, which allowed me to develop deverse individuals (college and elementary students). Through the agency individuals developed a marketable PORTFOLIO package in the performing and non-performing Arts industry. Click on the videos to see some of the results.
